okay i've been listening to blurryface and thats pretty alright
i'll take pretty alright, who do you think deserves more recognition?
i dunno, thats a hard thing to say, like do i really want people to get famous enough they make cookie cutter music?
this 👌👌 that's a good point but i tend to ascribe bad albums not to the fans but to the failures of the artist to realize what was fucking good about what they did to begin with before they were likeable. bad artistry. or selling out. ok i may still be bitter about blurryface
given how much fucking hype they put into it, it's not terrible, its not the best though i still need to listen through it a little more. but yeah like, idk i like music more than artists? and albums are snapshots of a moment in someone's life or moments, so maybe i only like them when they were sad and gross.
my spotify is full of singles or single songs i liked but i don't follow many people very closely, i like jack and spoon and i always will because they're always improving or impressing me. vessel is the most painful thing disguised as electronica pseudorap i think you'd like it more than blurryface because, that's what i liked about it. i think that album knows my soul.
same here i've got like FAVES, PROBLEMFAVES, FAVES1, FAVES2 where i just listen to one or two songs over over and over until i figure out there's more to listen to but i really am fucking pleased by electronica pseudorap that it's not just killers remake but its like so jarring the first time you hear hit like lalalal WORDDDDS
